A friend emailed this to me today. (I've received it several times over the years. However, it was an mp3 audio file. For some reason, Blogger won't let me download it to this post. (Anyone out there know how to do this?) It's so much funnier to actually hear it, but it's just as amusing to read it. Enjoy!

New Principal wasn't in again today. I think she was at meetings all day. Nothing really worth writing about happened today. I did get an email from a girl I met at the last PD I went to, though. I had gotten friendly with her, and another teacher, because we sat at the same table together for both days of PD, and I had promised them I would email them a link to a great website for making handwriting papers. (I think I posted it here once before, but if you're interested it's here.) I finally got around to doing it yesterday, and the one girl emailed back today with an AWESOME link to a website specifically for the new reading series (that's what the PD was for). It's a website of great resources that are all teacher-made, and I plan to make great use of everything on it. There are games, lesson plans, assessments, recording sheets, word wall words, oh, I could go on and on. (Yes, I DO know my geeky teacher side is showing, thanks!) If any of you out there use the Storytown series, here's the link. I promise, you'll LOVE it!! Even if you don't use that series, most of the things here can be used with any primary class. Be sure to click around, as there is more than just Storytown stuff here. (Click on Return to Home Page) I love that everything is ready to print right off the site. Why reinvent the wheel, I say!

On that note, I'm off to find the ream of cardstock I KNOW I bought at Sam's Club (who the hell knows where I put it, though!) and print me some games! :)
