From this trailer that I've seen, it looks pretty darn good! I can't wait to get it on video (wait, should I be saying DVD? I'm so old!) so I can show it to my babies. It's too bad we couldn't take a field trip to see it. I'm pretty sure I'd be able to connect it to some educational value, since it's based on a classic. Then again, I don't think I'm ever going to want to be seen in public with this group!!
It premiers October 16. I guess that means that by that afternoon, there will be bootleg copies circulating through the hood, and at least two of my kids will have copies by that night. If I wasn't so vehemently opposed to the whole bootleg thing, I might actually let one of them bring it in!

I can't wait to see this movie and I'm gonna bring along almost 15 year old daughter and the 13 year old twins whether they want to come or not!
Our playroom has a poster from the book on the door and it isn't the playroom, it's "Where the Wild Things Are" (Thing 1 and Thing 2 practically live in there) in our house!
