Are you the oldest, youngest, middle or only child? Talk about siblings.
Those of you who have been around for a while know that I have a brother and a sister, both younger. I'm the oldest, although now that we're adults, I'm ALWAYS asked if I'm the youngest. tee hee
I really wanted to share some pictures of us growing up, but I'm feeling FAR too lazy to go looking for my old pictures. I did scan a few for you, though, that I had around the house.
This one makes me laugh just looking at it!! You guys know that I was a band geek. My sister was, too, but only for a couple of years. My brother was never in band in grade school, but when he was a toddler, one of my uncles gave him this bugle, that he used to drag out every time my sister and I had our instruments out. Obviously this was taken on a night when we had a performance. I'm going to guess I was in 7th grade, my sister was in 5th, and my brother would have been kdg.
This is one of my favorite family photos. It's been on my refrigerator for 19 years now. It's clearly from my sister's wedding (Oct. 3, 1992). I can not believe how young we all look! Or, how thin I was!! I may have mentioned before that after being an absolute HOUSE at my own wedding, about 2 years before my sister's, I went on (yet another!!) diet and exercise plan, and by the time my sister's wedding arrived, I was down about 80 pounds, and looking pretty cute, if I do say so myself. Naturally, right after my sister got married, Stud was conceived, and I've never been that size again. :(This one is also on my fridge, right below the wedding photo. I love this picture of us! Mostly because the most beautiful city in the world is our backdrop. This was taken on Lower Wacker, over looking the Chicago River, in December 1999. My cousin from Alabama came to visit for the first time, and we were showing him around our gorgeous city.Maybe if I get a sudden burst of energy, I'll go dig up some photos that are actually cute. Or, from the 21st century!!

I'm sorry to hear about Stud's friend's mother's passing. May God bring comfort to each member of her family, to her friends and community.

Great shots! You have a great looking family! Your sister got married 1 week before I did! Whoo!
And I am sorry to admit that my first thought upon seeing photo #1 was: "One time, at band camp. . . "
