...because I need to get ready to get to the bar. Apparently, according to the news report I watched yesterday, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving is THE busiest night for bars, even busier than New Year's Eve. Yeah...I'm already tired just thinking about it....
Anyway, just wanted to let you all know that AP was at school today. Yay! I tried to pry some details out of her, but all she told me really was that she walked home with her brothers and sisters. Huh? I don't know if I'll ever get the whole story, but all that matters is that she's home. She was so cute this morning, running up to me and nearly knocking me over as she grabbed my legs. "Mrs. L, I missed you SOOO much!!!" Later she told me, "My mama told me that you said you really missed me and wanted me to come back to school." "That's right, AP, I did!" She didn't stop hugging me all day.
Ah....all's well that ends well....

I had no idea bars were so busy the day before Thanksgiving! Aren't people usually running around like crazy trying to buy all turkey and makings for a pie they forgot! Oh, maybe that's just me!@
