He was on a roll...

We introduced symmetry this week in math, and today we made symmetrical artwork by "blobbing" paint on half a sheet of paper, folding the paper over, rubbing it, then opening the paper. I worked with one table at a time, and we made a big production out of opening the papers. Then we tried to decide what the picture ended up looking like. (i.e. a butterfly, a mask, and so on.) When my Rhyming Boy's group was at my table, I opened one of the babies' pictures, and he blurts out, "It looks like a booty!" Which, by the way, it did NOT.

The funniest thing about all this is that VM is absolutely NOT one of "those" kids who get a kick out of using inappropriate words in school. I don't think he even realizes what he said when we were rhyming, and he was just calling it like he saw it with the picture. Ah...never a dull moment at the Hell-Hole....

Very funny...reminds me of those ink blot tests. Seems some people always see something bizzare.

Aren't those little ones funny, before they learn to stop and think before they talk? You could write a book about all of these cute sayings!
