I'm going to poke my own eyes out if I don't start writing down all the cute little things the babies say!! I bought a damn journal specifically for recording these things, but do you think I even ever take it out of my school bag?! Ugh! I'm pissing myself off! I spend a good part of the day cracking up at the things they say, but by the time I get home, it's lost. Ah, growing old...it sucks!!
I did remember this, though - this morning, we were making literacy games during our reading block (don't tell the Big Cheese!) that involved cutting, which always means lots of scraps. One of the babies came up and asked, "Mrs. L., can I dunk your garbage?" She wanted to take the little can and "dump" it out in the big can in the hall. Too funny!

I wonder if you could bring in a tape recorder and just hit "record" when the babies interact with you. You could then a) post the audio or b) transcribe the cute things they say in a journal at another time. They have digital recorders that are tapeless (so I guess tape recorder is not really the right tool here) but you catch my drift.
That's actually a great idea. It's funny you should suggest it, cuz this morning I was thinking about how I could really use something to record little memos. My brother's phone has a memo feature, and he leaves himself little messages all the time. I don't think my phone has that feature, but maybe I could just call me home phone, and leave myself a message. I know, I'm a dork!!!
I'm glad your day wasn't too bad. P.S. I finally started posting again after being sooo lazy! haha
