Believe it or not, I'm too tired to bitch!

My son had an appointment with his pediatrician today at 4:10. After racing home at breakneck speeds to get there on time, we walked in the office at 3:50. Whew, made it with a few minutes to spare. Well, guess what time we were called into an exam room. Go on, guess! 6-fuckin'-35!!! 6:35! That would be bad enough on it's own, but he originally had an appointment for 4:10 on Tuesday. I stopped home to let the dog out, and decided to listen to my messages, which was lucky because I found out our appointment was cancelled! Shit!! When I called the office, they gave me today's appointment. Then they had the balls to make me wait 2 hours and 45 minutes!!! What the hell is that!!!

All that said, I'm far too exhausted and angry to even write about school today. We walked in the door at ten after 7, I turned on the oven, and just now popped a frozen pizza in for dinner. Mother of the Year here, folks! On the plus side, I'll get to sleep in tomorrow since there's no school for students. That means my son doesn't have school, so I don't have to drive him there, which means I can sleep almost an hour longer. Hell, I may just go to school at 9:30 instead of 8:30 and REALLY sleep in!

Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion . . . . I myself prefer to laugh, since there is less cleaning up to do afterward. ---Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.

haha.. love the subject line. i know some people think that complaining doesn't solve problems.... but i know it made me feel better. and i did a whole lot of feeling better today. actually, it is how i spent my entire day. how sad. what else was i gonna do though. it's not like we actually had the report cards to fill out in a timely fashion. considering the parents will be picking them up thurs., it'd be nice to get them before that. just a thought.. i wish we could've had a ladies night tonight. we have to get on that ASAP!

That's ridiculous you had to wait that long. Did they even apologize???

And you still hold rank as mother of the year even with frozen pizzas for dinner.

=)
