Talk about the best prank you ever pulled.
Hmmm, I can't really think of one, because I'm not really a prankster. I don't particularly like pranks pulled on me, either. If I think of something later, I'll come back.
I'm (not very patiently!) counting down until I get to see my Monkey today. My brother's dog has an appointment at the vet today. He takes his dog to the same vet I take Dorky Dog to, and it's located about half-way between our houses. So I'm going to meet them at the vet! Plus, I'll be able to pick up some medication for Dorky Dog's ear. Sounds like a win-win!
Well, except for the fact that I'll actually have to leave my house. In case you haven't heard, we're in the middle of a heat wave. An awful heat wave. The kind of heat wave that penguins do NOT like. This particular penguin doesn't like triple-digit temperatures. Go figure.

It's crazy hot here. Going to be way over 100. At least the pool will be warm.

The only thing I'm enjoying about this heat wave is that I don't feel like eating. And that's a good thing!

They say today is the coolest day of the week.
At 95, I beg to differ but I can't complain about the heat because my customers do enough of that for me.
I am somewhat thankful that the humidity isn't bad yet.

Some penguins like heat. They are called African penguins and they are the kind we have at our zoo. They look like regular, cold-loving penguins, just without the snow.
