An ah-ha moment...

I was sitting here, blog-surfing, and stumbled across one blog from another. (I kinda LOVE when that happens!) This particular blog is yet another one of those awesome blogs dedicated to Kindergarten. Gee, can you guess what happened next? I started crying!!!!!!

I sat there, reading through her archives, soaking up all the awesome ideas she shared, while blubbering like a freakin' baby!! It suddenly occurred to me that what I was feeling was this - I'm no longer a member of this very cool, very exclusive club. I feel like I was kicked out. My membership was revoked. I was kicked to the curb. Oh my holy hell!!! I don't want to leave!!!!!

I seriously can not stop crying. I need to get the hell off the computer, and pull myself together.

You will find a whole new sisterhood of 1st grade teachers to belong to. First grade is the foundation. YOu will love your new "grown ups". Meanwhile, may your principal develop a big zit on her nose for the first day of school.

Okay you totally have to email me because I can't post work stuff here or on my blog! But you need to hear that it's the SOS no matter where you teach!

Good to hear from you! Keep your head up and perhaps we can share first grade ideas if I end up getting moved too!

I was told today that I am moving from Kg to 1st. I'll have to move all of my teacher stuff down the hall. I have been asking my principal since April what was going to happen. Now I find out the week before I go back to school. But I can't go in early because the floors aren't ready!
I think tonight might be a 3 margarita night!

3 margaritas would be a good start, but I think a couple shots of Patron should be mixed in, too!

I hope you love it! AND if you're looping, you get to move back to K next year, right? I don't get why you have to move classrooms. What a pain!

Ok....these blogs make ME want to teach K. (And that is a stretch). Has your year started yet? (with the kids....I know meetings have) Will you post pictures of your classroom? When I have kids I'd love for them to have you as a teacher. Your kids are so sweet.
