You know what the problem is? We go from ever-lovin' winter to hot as hell in a snap. There is no spring in this town. You don't ease in. Just cold, then hot. And I usually like the hot. But today, I was NOT havin' it. I'm with ya.
I can relate to SO MUCH within your blog. I am an inner city school teacher too. Thanks for keeping it real. Some days are really tough, others are so rewarding....strange balance.
I could stand a little HEAT wave! It's been sunny here, so that's progress, but I'd love the temp to go above 60! I went to school near Alton for 2 years, and it got really HUMID in the spring, but oh, the smell of lilacs & the view of the river were LOVELY.
This started out as a place to document the craziness that was my job as a Chicago Public School teacher. However, over the past 5 or so years, it's become more about the craziness that is my life.

Oooh girl I would be too! Have some Ice Cream! You deserve it :)
Have a greet weekend
OMG I would totally trade you places! It's sunny here (shock) but only about 57 degrees.
It is much hotter here. But then again that is expected. Stop the grouchies. ;)

I just wish it would warm up over here!
