OK, it's been pretty rainy here lately. Plus, the temperature dropped over the weekend. Monday night we were expected to have a low in the 30s and snow. Freakin' snow! (In the windup, it didn't snow, but it was cold as hell.) Today, it warmed up quite a bit (60s) and by Friday, we are supposed to hit 80. Seriously?! I'm already annoyed. It was too warm for me
today, and it was only in the 60s. Yeah, I know, I'm weird. I've said it before, and I'll say it again - I think I was a
penguin in a previous life!

I am totally a penguin too-- I hated Florida weather and love Sydney winter.
I must be a lizard then because I'm happiest sitting on a hot rock in the desert soaking up the sun.
Not a lot of opportunity to do so in Seattle though!
And I think I have officially decided that Chicago weather sucks slightly more than Seattle weather. The snow sort of seals the deal!
It was in the 100's here at the beginning of the week, but was a chilly 70 today. :)
97 here Monday and freezing and windy today...go figure?! I'd take hot over cold anyday...must've been a camel in the past life LOL!
hey cheech, does your school system have any of the programs that i mentioned in my last post? you would think for inner city kids, they would have something. i hopeso, because stuff like this could make such a difference for the kids.
take care...
maybe at some point this summer, diane and i may plan a trip to the windy city. if so, it will be a miracle.... but i will let you know. we would have to get together, n'est pas?
:)

Then you deserve Chicago. Here in the 'south",( as many Chicagoans refer to us..., St. Louis, that is) (where the Cubs will go down in ignominious defeat this weekend!)), the weather has been perfect, with humidity already and the start of bugs... gotta love the river valley.
Tom Anselm
we're opposites for real.. I like it HOT!!
