Email of the Day

After being interviewed by the school administration, the prospective teacher said:
"Let me see if I've got this right. You want me to go into that room with all those kids, correct their disruptive behavior, observe them for signs of abuse, monitor their dress habits, censor their T-shirt messages, and instill in them a love for learning.
You want me to check their backpacks for weapons, wage war on drugs and sexually transmitted diseases, and raise their sense of self esteem and personal pride. You want me to teach them patriotism and good citizenship, sportsmanship and fair play, and how to register to vote, balance a checkbook, and apply for a job.
You want me to check their heads for lice, recognize signs of antisocial behavior, and make sure that they all pass the final exams. You also want me to provide them with an equal education regardless of their handicaps, and communicate regularly with their parents in English, Spanish or any other language, by letter, telephone, newsletter, and report card.
You want me to do all this with a piece of chalk, a blackboard,a bulletin board, a few books, a big smile, and a starting salary that qualifies me for food stamps.
You want me to do all this and then you tell me. . . I CAN'T PRAY?
(sent to me this morning by one of my best buds, who also happens to work at the Hell-Hole!)

yeah i agree with suz.

before we know it, schools wont allow flatulance, as they will say it's "polution".

they will not allow fish tanks as the fish have sex in the water and before you know it, you gotch yo'self a brothal right there in the classroom...

and if the kids look at the fish? there you got pornography.... cuz everyone knows goldfish are some ugly lil fuckers....

and if they change the water, thats abortion.

and of course NO fly swatters, as they are weapons.

and of course, sadly no prayer, as it would be considered brainwashing.

so, in my opinion, whats the fucking point of even going to school?

i did like this last post, it makes SO much sense.

Teachers should get paid like doctors for all the do and deal with.
I refuse my son not to say "under God" in the pledge. THIS IS OUR COUNTRY we are not all religious but we are OK with that and the core of our country is we believe, we have hope that there is a GOD because hey to hope there is one is far better than living like there isn't one...we do not go to other countries and make them change their religious beliefs the great thing about our country is we allow you the option to have and practice whatever you like...so don't mess with our "Under GOD" or in "God we trust"...that's how I feel about it :-)

And this is why I never finished my college degree towards teaching.

Teachers should be paid more than big business CEOs.

It would be a good start...

....as long as there are tests there will be prayer in schools :)

I like teaching K because I am still bigger and meaner than the kids :)
