I don't know...
...what the hell I'm doing here lately. I've been "sharing" more over at the other place, even though I had only intended to share my numbers. What the hell? If you're interested, click here.
This stuff happens. You've been reading me now and then, so you know that I have several sites. What I found is that you start a second one for one specific purpose, then it starts to branch out on you. A little discipline is in order here, but it's hard when you're at the gym, and you get a call about Monkey that changes your routine. So how do you split that up? Half on each blog? Doesn't make much sense.
We had a family blog (The Tyler Gang), then each set up our own blogs (Jack's Hideout, et al) for things that didn't seem to fit in with family business, then those took over because everything fit there; no more Tyler Gang. Then I set up Beyond the Rails for my writing, then I moved to Writing.com for that, because everyone there is interested in, you know, writing, and now Beyond the Rails only exists because Blogger is good at bringing in new traffic.
Don't worry about any of this, just do what feels right, and it will eventually settle itself. Congratulations on your results, by the way. There isn't much that requires more discipline than cranking a machine for a reward that you may or may not see six months down the road. Hey, kind of sounds like raising children...
I DO know you've been working out...and that is a wonderful thing. I hope you are feeling good. I got back on the work out wagon after a few months of doing hardly nothing....it feels good to be moving again. XOXO
This started out as a place to document the craziness that was my job as a Chicago Public School teacher. However, over the past 5 or so years, it's become more about the craziness that is my life.
