Un-freakin'-believable
It's been a while since I've felt the kind of burning rage that this post brought on. I literally could not control the physical response my body had while reading this. My heart started pounding incredibly hard and fast, and I thought I might have a panic attack. The more I read, the worse it got. I realized when I got to the end that my jaw was literally hanging to my chest. I first read this about 4 hours ago, and I still have a knot in my stomach because of it. The whole thing sickens me. Go check it out, please.

Well it's like the old saying goes: "not everyone's going to like you"
If it made you that upset, there is not way I can read it.
This is why I avoid the news; I only want rainbows and lemon drops!!!
XOXO
The writer of that letter needs to be euthanized. But, that would make us as evil as she is so I would just invite more kids over to play with him in the yard.
Seriously! I am sure that boy is making noise...but can you imagine being the parent? Any of us could have been dealt that child...we are just lucky...but some compassion perhaps?! Maybe you could introduce yourself and be a role model for your own children! There are autistic people in the world and maybe YOU can help! Or politely ask the grandmother not to let him in the yard before 7 a.m. so you can sleep...or during the time when your child is going down for a nap....bring her some cookies...for God's sakes a little compassion goes a looooong way. You can bet the author has been rating about this around her own "normal" children and teaching them intolerance!!
That's pretty effed up.
This has been all over the news in Canada Lisa. The neighbour is obviously in need of help herself if she really feels this way!! The mother of the child was interviewed yesterday and she was shocked that this neighbour felt this way. It was deemed by the authorities that it's not a 'hate crime' so there is not much they can do. And the mother has no plans to bring her son indoors.
This child has a good mother to look after him so don't be getting yourself all upset Lisa!! Not good for you!
Read it and shook my head. Then I couldn't help but notice this little niggling (is that a word?)feeling. I finally recognized it and gave it a name. It was sadness. Sadness for the person who wrote that mean note. Because the little person it refers to and the family he/she attacked obviously has someone who loves them. The person who wrote the note...probably not so much. If he/she did then he/she would not have had to hide behind anonymity. So, I say a silent prayer that no further harm come to this child and that the person peeking out their window find peace one day.
