I just watched this on Oprah (on what, I assume, is a rerun.) I am as far from an Oprah fan as you can get, but the television was on, and the music grabbed my attention. I didn't see this when it originally aired. (cuz, HELLO! I hate Oprah! Well, I don't really like that word, so lets say I dislike her intensely...) As soon as it started, I was hooked. This is seriously cool. Plus, my gorgeous city is the backdrop, so what's not to like?

Hola! Happy New Year! Thanks for the concern...I'm still here! Yay! You are sweet for checking in.
I did see this on Oprah and it was pretty cool, huh? I've only been in one flash mob, but it still gives me chills remembering the energy and noise. Awesome!
I know...I thought this was amazing as well!
I just adored this.

Okay, from another non-fan of Oprah (ooooh....because of Oprah I invented a new word), one more cynical than ChiTown Girl, all I could think was: the poor people who would actually have liked to see Oprah (her real fans) were three blocks away so that this created-for-TV spectacle could take place! NOT cool, as far as I'm concerned....but VERY Oprah-like!
AT first I was like "what is UP with this chick in the blue?"
Then "Wow, she can really dance".
Then "Oh, I get it now".
Slow on the uptake today. :)
(On a humorous note, my daughter downloaded a cover of this song sung by Alvin & the Chipmunks onto my MP3 player... I actually like it better than the Blackeyed Pea version!) :)
